Is this a Cruel joke by the Congress on we Indians ?

20 Jun

The lead article in The Hindu – Move afresh to secure Anderson extratidion : GOM must be seen as a cruel joke. How else can you explain the logic ?

What diff would it make for them to bring Warren back to the country when he is in 90’s and one leg in the grave ? The only thing the Congress can do now is to reveal and accept the truth on what they did , accept that the ministers of the highest level were involved in letting Warren escape and give better compensation and rehabilitation to the victims .

There is no point in bringing Warren back. And even if they make the moves to bring him back, what is the point ?  the process of extradition will take so long that by the time it is done Warren will either be dead or we will forget the entire issue.

Clearly a very cruel and cunning plan by the Congress. Shame on them !

You know, this is the only reason why I dont aim seriously for IAS exams ? Because the system is so corrupt that even if I want to do something for the people of the country, the politicians will never let it happen. I will always be under the rule and directions of the politicans and do the work what they want and how they want it . In fact, joining IAS service will be like doing things unpatriotic .

Be it BJP, Congress or Left . Corruption is across the party lines . Nothing can be changed. No one will allow change. It is all dynasty politics everywhere !

Explain this : How did a man incharge/responsible for 20,000 deaths escape from the country ? Someone please explain ..

Lalith Modi : Corporate Pimp: IPL

17 Apr

Tomorrow IPL starts . And guess what ? I am gonna keep away from it . Not watching IPL matches is at the top my list of ” What not to do  during this summer” .  Here is why …

IPL Matches : Rise of the Corporate Pimp ( and his chamchas) :

I gotta to hand it to that man . One Mr.Lalit Modi. Corporate Pimp par excellence. He moved IPL matches which is [India Primeir League] to South Africa. Why ? Becuase  he just couldnt keep himself away from money.

Lalith Modi

He chose Greed over Safety. Money over Motherland.

When India votes for its future in the next 2 months , becuase of this one man,  a group of Indian crickerts will be not be voting.

He wanted to fill his coffers. He wanted to make sure his chamchas -SRK, Priety Zinta, Shilpa Shetty and wife of some prominent Indian business man who are so jobless that they got into such business –  also get the millege of the money invested. This is sheer pimping – Corporate Ishstyle !

r-k-laxman

Here is a nation battling a mamoth of elections . The numbers are awe inspiring .It will be spread over five stages, taking four weeks and involving 6.5m staff. In 543 constituencies, 4,617 candidates, representing some 300 parties, will compete for the ballots of an electorate of 714m eligible voters. The voting will happen in over 828,804 polling stations.

This election is going be under such a intense security due to the terror threat. And yet, this man just simply wanted his ROI. Bloody F***king money mongering …

As a self respecting , urban, middle class Indian I am gonna be involved in voting and be part of this election process than be caught watching IPL matches.

Common Guys ! I may not have money these people have , but hey , I have the dignity which they lack.

Someone forgot to tell Lalit that Indian Elections are conducted during the summer season every 5 years. He could have set the dates of these matches pre or post elections.

Some people just dont change !

The One good thing :

Economist in its latest article India’s jumbo election has this quote –

A poor, diverse country of more than 30 main languages and six main religions, India also has, in the Hindu caste system, a tradition of hierarchy seemingly at odds with a system of universal suffrage.

Since when did India become poor? Wonder why The Economist is so anti – India all the time in its articles.

Did they not realize that because the Indian govt dint budge under Laith’s threats and becasue IPL has moved to South Africa , it has indirectly opened gates of money which will be pumped into the South African Economy?

IPL will be bring loads of money into South Africa in  the form of increased tourism ,tax money, ticket sales, job generation and etc ..

We just did South Africa  a big favor by not allowing IPL in India. Lol! Aint that awesome ..

(Oh yes, these are my thoughts and  opinions  and not a corporate blog)

Save Varun Gandhi Campaign

24 Mar

Quick… Save Varun  Gandhi from certain mental break down. He is a sick child and he needs our care and attention. Poor fellow was taken under the BJP wing and now he has become this communal hate mongering monster.

He first declares in public that he will cut the throats of our Muslim brothers if they say something wrong about Hindu religion. If that is not an hallmark of a sick mind then I don’t know what is. And to top it, he says the video which captured him shouting anti – Muslim slogans were “doctored” by other political parties.

He should be put behind bars under some anti-India law.

I wanna help him. I cant give him a Jadoo ki Japi but I would like to take a cue from the Pink Chaddi campaign and connect with millions of Indians and send flowers with Get Well Soon card to the BJP headquarters in his constituency and convince to drop political ambitions and get checked into a rehab.

Otherwise, this Gandhi clan offspring is not just gonna destroy his life and degrade himself but soil his Gandhi links and become a threat to the entire nation.

I am Vikas from Chennai and I take all responsibility for these actions and have no qualms to face any problems /defamation suits filed against me on this blog. I care more about my society and my nation than….

I am also starting: Save Varun Gandhi Campaign in facebook and all are invited.

NREGA – read FrontLine magazine for ..

4 Jan

NREGA ( National Rural Employment Guarantee Act) started by the UPA govt in 2006-2007 was unprecedented in its scale and scope.

According to the Act ,anyone who is willing to do manual labour at the statutory minimum wage is entitled to being employed on local public works within 15 days, subject to a limit of 100 days a household a year.

The Act itself made great sense in terms of its coverage and consequent economic development and social equity. A crown Jewel in the UPA’s reign indeed.

The act however had its own skepticism from noted economists , activists and the likes

Where is the money going to come from ? The govt had to dish out money for both public spending and the payment of wages for the laborers . It was no brainer that the money would be channelized from the tax collection. Fair enough!

but ….

What about the implementation?  Corruption will be rampant. Crores of common man’s money will be redirected to politician’s Swiss bank accounts etc…

In fact , if you pick up the current FRONTLINE magazine you will see how the NREGA act has progressed sinc inception.

The cover story by JEAN DREZE AND REETIKA KHERA is been extremely well researched and very insightful in presenting the facts and stats ( note : please follow the links to know more about the authors ).

You will read how the scheme has progressed in the past 2 years since inception and what are the problems the laborers are facing , the crimes committed against the backdrop of this scheme and what has to be done to improvise.

Kudos to the journalists and the students who helped them in the survey  for bringing out such a great article on the most important rural development scheme in modern India.

I therefore implore all the readers of this  blog post to buy latest copy FrontLine magazine to read more on the same.

alternatively, you can read the article on the web- The battle of employment guarantee. But, what is the fun in reading such important articles using the electronic media when you can do it the old fashioned way?

About FrontLine :

Coming from the stables of  The Hindu publishers , Frontline as always been considered the best magazine in the country for serious journalism and insightful articles and in depth surveys .

The magazine has always been considered ideal for preparation for Civil Service aspirants and other govt exams.

That is exactly the problem as well. Why only Civil Service servants ? why not regular college U.G and P.G students of management and media studies? why is it considered that only “old men” read Frontline otherwise?

Frontline is one the best magazines around to give you a complete no-nonsense ( refreshingly without too many print ads) information of whats happening in India and across the world. It is one of the best magazines you can read to improve your English language. A great magazine to quote from without worrying about its authenticity .

Tell you what ? Why don’t you guys go in for an annual subscription? It is gonna cost only Rs 265. You wont regret the investment. Just sacrifice on some outside food and direct it to the magazine. And it has  its own perks …

  • People who otherwise don’t give a hoot about you, will definitely start noticing you with raised eyebrows .
  • Chicks love it when a guy is serious about his reading choice. And I am serious!
  • Your parents for once will really appreciate what you reading and you can almost hear them whisper, ” Hamara beta sudargaya .. ”

Seriously .. go for it
